At Pure, we’re revolutionising urban travel with a category-leading brand, differentiated products and services that our riders love. We’re here to tackle some of Earth’s biggest issues and create a meaningful change for individuals and the wider world.
Each one of our ingenious, electric vehicles - from e-scooters to e-bikes - is designed to reduce pollution, travel time, congestion and expensive fares in cities across the globe. We put our riders’ needs first in everything we do. We have two-way conversations on and offline, we listen, understand, and help people find the right product, so they can enjoy their ride, every time.
For us, success is a group effort. It relies on having the most talented people in our teams. Individuals who thrive on innovation, boldness and treating our people and planet with respect so we can achieve our mission to make short distance travel sustainable, smarter and better.
About the role
CRM plays an absolutely critical part in the overall marketing strategy here at Pure, supporting the delivery of our pretty big ambitions. So we're looking for a CRM expert to lead the Global CRM strategy across our markets (Currently UK, France, Spain & Belgium but we plan to grow further).
You'll sit in our Global Digital team and work closely across the marketing teams to develop and deliver an impactful CRM strategy across rider acquisition, retention and advocacy.
This is a hugely exciting role with scope to be creative and really make an impact.
What you'll do:

- Champion the customer with a customer-centric approach to CRM;
- Collaborate with the Global Brand team to build and leverage powerful customer insight;
- Develop data led targeted segments to further improve engagement;
- Strategic development and introduction of a rewards programme with key customers segments, driving LTV, satisfaction and enhanced revenue
- Work closely with the marketing functions in the country to ensure the email calendar aligns with the wider marketing and product launch calendar
- Continuously improve current automated email workflows, and identify new opportunities for automated targeting
- Continuously test and learn, implementing best practices to improve email efficiency
- Be able to deliver this strategy in a hands on role
- Work closely with the design and marketing team on campaigns and messaging
- Measure and analyse ROI from campaigns, producing regular reports on email performance
- Identify new channels to drive existing customer engagement
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience in a CRM or email marketing role within a fast paced retail/ecommerce business is essential
- Excellent knowledge of GDPR and the application to customer data
- Previous use of Google Analytics to measure and understand campaign performance
- Experience working cross-functionality with senior stakeholders to maximise value from campaign activity
- You will need to be adaptable and be able to embrace change
- The ability to work at speed in a fast turnaround environment, without sacrificing quality of content
- Strong communication skills, commercial acumen and results-orientated
- You need to be an enthusiastic and dynamic yet collaborative team player with a high degree of integrity and personal responsibility
Thing's we'd love you to have but aren't essential:
- An interest of e-bikes, e-scooters and cycling so you can get excited about our products
- Experience of Bronto / Dotdigital, Klaviyo and other ECRM platforms desirable
- Global experience
